It’s that time of year again, the scare season. With the start of October comes the start of the spirit for Halloween. Some will be putting together a creative costume and others will be preparing for the Trick-or-Treater to arrive on their doorsteps, but one thing always attracts kids,teens, and adults and that’s haunted houses. Haunted houses are a seasonal attraction that open around late September and usually close after Halloween night. These attractions appeal to both scare seekers and people just looking to have a good time. The Parker House and Cutting Edge are just two of the many haunted houses that you can find in the DFW area.

Along with Halloween comes candy, and lots of it. Almost everyone has a favorite candy and Halloween is the time to get it. Stores all around shore of shelves with thousands of pounds of candy to entice buyers at this time of year. In fact, according to many sources, the average American eats about 24 pounds of candy per year, but Americans buy over 600 billions pounds of candy just for halloween.

So whether it’s the scares or the sweets, Halloween offers something for everyone.
