Argyle Artist Advances from VASE Competition

Zoey Bouquio advances to state with their piece “Inner Linked.”

Argyle High School art students participated in the V.A.S.E. (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) art competition at Timber Creek High School over the weekend this past Saturday.

There were 35 students and 49 artworks representing Argyle High School. 44 of those artworks received medals of excellence with one piece of artwork on its way to State.

Zoey Bouquio had her artwork, “Inner Linked,” advance to the Visual Art Scholastic State Event which will be held in April at San Marcos High School, in San Marcos Texas.

Along with being a reporter for The Talon News, he participates in Argyle Theatre and is a part of the National Honors Society.
