Athletic and Band Booster Clubs will host the 10th annual Argyle Eagle Classic Golf Tournament Wed. April 24th. The tournament will be held at the Golf Club at Champions Circle in Fort Worth, Texas. This event will benefit both booster clubs and is trying to raise a minimum of $30,000.
A four-person scramble tournament will begin at 1:30 PM with a chance to play 18-holes of golf with local celebrities. The event will also feature a post-tournament awards dinner, raffles, numerous contests, four hole-in-one contests, and a ball drop.
The Athletic Booster Club supports the goals of the Argyle athletics. It’s goal is to offer community support, parental support, and financial assistance to over 500 young men and women at both high school and middle school levels. Through volunteer and fundraising efforts, the Athletic Booster Club addresses the needs of their young men and women and enhances the potential for their continued success.
The Booster Club supports the band program at intermediate, middle school and high school levels. Over 300 students in grades 6 through 12 are members of the band. Band Boosters assist the band by providing financial support for band activities, scholarships, and private lessons as well as any projects outside the domain of the school district revenue.
In order to make the 2013 Argyle Eagle Classic Golf Tournament a success, the Booster Clubs are asking for community members to consider becoming a sponsor, team, or item donor for the raffle. Sponsorship levels vary and are listed in the Tournament Brochure.
