The Area Track meet was held Thursday, April 18th at the high school. The top 4 competitors in each event will move on to the Regional track meet at TAMU Commerce.
Boys:
Jon Pucciarello won 1st at Pole Vault and Logan Dial placed 5th.
Spencer McCloud won 1st place in High Jump.
Connor Wilson 2nd place in 200m dash.
Taylor Sweatt placed 5th in Discuss.
Alvaro Quintanilla placed 3rd overall in 3200m.
Gabriel Landin placed 3rd in 800m.
The Varsity Boys’ 4×200 relay placed 3rd.
Gabriel Landin placed 4th in Boys’ 1600m run.
Girls:
Taylor Mueller won 1st in 400m run and 5th in Girls’ Long Jump.
Laura Lotze placed 1st and Alijona Begaj placed 2nd.
The Girls’ 4x400m relay won 1st place.
Annamarie Wollums placed 4th in 3200m run.
Alli Styron placed 4th in 300m hurdles.
