The Talon Staff won multiple awards in the National Scholastic Press Association competition and the Journalism Educators Association competition at the annual fall convention this weekend in St. Louis, Missouri! These students competed against high school journalists across the country.

In the Journalism Education Association competition, Senior Editor-in-chief Ashley Henderson received an honorable mention in News Writing and Senior Director of Photography Nick West received excellent in Sports Action photography.
