Tierney Withrow, Editor-in-Chief
As a senior, Tierney is the Editor-in-Chief of The Talon News, chapter president of Quill & Scroll National Honor Society for Journalists and founding chapter president of Skills USA Audio-Visual. In 2024, Tierney earned a gold medal for her UIL Journalism 2024 5A State Editorial and earned the Editorial Tops in Texas award. Additionally, she has earned an honorable mention award from the 2025 Associated of Texas Photography Instructors Fall Photo Contest. Tierney has previously interned at The Post-Signal, had her work published in The North Texan Daily and was a participant in the University of North Texas Scripps-Howard Foundation Program.
