Members of the girls basketball team, both middle and high school, leant a helping hand to Elementary school North Riverside Elementary, by volunteering their services on June 18. The girls played games, served lunch, and read books, to children of all ages at the Christian Community Storehouse through the program “Warm Tummies”. This service allowed for children at school during the summer the opportunity to eat a warm lunch and the ability to play games while looking at books donated by Hilltop Elementary School.

On July 9, the girls offered their services again at the Denton County Children’s Advocacy Center. At the center, a group effort between the team, parents, and coaches went into sanitizing and cleaning parts of the building. The volunteers also helped organize the attic, stain benches, and do yard work around premises. The Argyle group put much work into helping those in need.
