Argyle Lady Eagles faced the Denton Lady Broncos the night of Feb. 18. The final score was 4-0. Senior Hannah Neece, and her freshman sister, Abbi, make for a dynamic duo that excites the fans. Working together, Abbi assisted Hannah with the first, second, and last goal of the night.

“We’ve been working on offense and moving forward on the quick attack to beat the other teams defense,” Taylor Erwin said.

The seniors have been putting their efforts forward to make the team close knit, and on the field, they work together seamlessly. As with any team, each player has personal goals.

Center middle, Lindsey Eckert, says she has been doing her part to “fight for every ball and not miss any practices.” And this effort shows on the field. Eckert scored a goal to bring the team to 3-0 in the first half.

The upcoming game on Friday, Feb. 21, the girls team will face the Byron Nelson Lady Bobcats. Junior, Cassie Hargroves, comments that she “looks forward to a better challenge” that the “tougher team” offers.

Erwin says that in practice, she has been thinking about how the team can “hold off Byron Nelson this Friday” and hopes to “come out strong and play our best.”

Hopefully the girls will succeed and bring home another win.
