Haim is a new band that has just burst onto the new, cool and current indie music scene. The band consists of the Haim sisters: Danielle, Alana, and Este. Their songs incorporate classic rock with a modern pop twist. These three sisters are being called the “epitome of cool”. The oldest, Este, is 26 and rocks the bass guitar. Danielle, 23 and the middle sister, plays the electric guitar. Finally, Alana, who is only 19, plays the drums and synthesizer. Though they all sing, Danielle is definitely the lead vocalist as her voice is very unique and matches perfectly with her sisters’ harmonies. Each of these “It” girls have been playing their respective instruments since before they were even ten years old. Anyone who wants something cool, current, and different to listen to needs to check out Haim’s new album Days Are Gone.
