Denton’s Newest Pizzaria Offers a Range of Options

Erin Eubanks, Reporter

If you find yourself craving an atypical meal but have no ideas in mind, allow me to recommend Pizza Snob in downtown Denton. As made clear from the name, Pizza Snob specializes in pizza. However, it’s not your average crust, marinara sauce, and cheese dish–unless you want it to be. There’s one great magic of this urban and accessible restaurant: it offers choice. The restaurant has a fast casual concept, meaning the chef builds your pizza as you go down the line, allowing you to pick and choose the ingredients and flavors of your personalized pie. With a wide range of sauces, cheeses, and toppings, you’re assured to get the exact taste you’re looking for.

What if you’re not sure what you’re looking for? Well Pizza Snob has the perfect solution for that. Behind the counter is a hand-written list of the chefs’ favorite pizza toppings and flavors. Among this list stands the top-rated baked potato pizza. This tasty pie has a thin crust, Alfredo and cheddar cheese, potato bits, bacon, and chives. It perfectly mocks the delicious flavor of a baked potato while maintaining the appearance of a pizza. What’s more, the pizza itself only takes 90 seconds to bake. The pizza is enough to feed one or two people, depending on how hungry you are. Each pie costs $8.50 and all sized drinks cost $1.50.

The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, filled with plants and simple art. Throughout the week the restaurant isn’t too crowded, but it certainly holds a full seating on weekends. Pizza Snob is located at 321 West Hickory Street #108 in Denton, Texas. On Sunday-Wednesday the hours are 11AM-9PM and 11AM-10PM on Thursday-Saturday.
