‘Tis the season to be spooked.

Halloween is right around the corner, and people are getting excited for the pumpkins, ghosts, witches, and most importantly, the candy. Along with of all of these fall traditions, people of every age become thrilled about Halloween movies.

10: The Harry Potter series 

The Harry Potter series of movies are streamed on ABC Family throughout the month of October. The series consists of eight movies; the eighth film being part 2 of the seventh movie, Deathly Hallows.

9: Twitches

Twitches stars Tia and Tamera Mowry. Since it was such a tremendous hit, Twitchess Too came out two years later.

8: The Nightmare Before Christmas 

Tim Burton’s most popular movie is a Halloween classic that everyone looks forward to this time of year.

7: Paranorman

Paranorman is one of the new films for the eerie holiday. In the animated “horror” film, little Norman Babcock has the ability to speak with the dead.

6: The Addams Family 

This movie is truly a family classic. With Morticia, Gomez, Uncle Fester and Tully, people look forward to seeing the entertaining family on television every Halloween.

5: The Halloweentown series 

All four Halloweentown movies are what every person needs to complete their Halloween holiday. After discovering she’s a witch, Marnie Cromwell helps save Halloweentown from supernatural creatures.

4: The Haunted Mansion

Jim Evers, in The Haunted Mansion, takes his family on a vacation. After taking a pit stop for work, things get twisted, and the Evers family ends up attempting to break a curse.

3: Phantom of the Megaplex

Phantom of the Megaplex, which is adapted from Phantom of the Opera, is a Disney Channel original movie. It is based on a millionaire owner of a theater that is planning to attend the screening. It is a a much anticipated Halloween movie for all ages.

2: Casper 

Casper is about a cute little boy ghost, who “haunts” a mansion in Maine. It is a classic halloween movie starring Hilary Duff.

1: Hocus Pocus

This movie adds the cherry on top of everyone’s Halloween season. Although this movie was made in 1993, director Kenny Ortega includes all the best aspects of Halloween including evil witches, little kids in costumes, and ghost mysteries.
