On Friday, during the Eagles vs Midlothian Heritage football game, the homecoming court will be announced during half-time. During the past week, students voted for the nominees and narrowed down the king and queen to eight possible candidates.
Faith Hall
“I am Faith Hall, I’m 17, and in my free time, I make homecoming braids, draw, bake, and DIY,” Hall said. “Everything I do goes back towards the school. Especially the yearbook, taking photos of people doing what they love, like band and baseball, is really enjoyable!
It would also be nice to win with my boyfriend whom I started dating freshman year.”
“I volunteer often for schools, churches, animal shelters, and more,” Hall said. “Not to mention yearbook and photography are my favorite ways to give back, people get to see a moment they otherwise would have only been in their memories.”
Hall is in yearbook, on-level tech theatre, a member of PALs, and plays varsity soccer. Hall volunteers frequently through the National Honor Society (NHS) and Student Council. Hall works at Bigshots Golf.

“I am the senior class president and love to serve the community,” Combs said. “I love all things sports and participate in varsity soccer and track. I love to read, spend time with my family, and hang out with my awesome friends, and I love the Cowboys!
I am proud to be an Argyle Eagle and I love this school. I promise to uphold the values our school stands for, love others well, work hard, show school spirit, and be a solid representative of Argyle High School.”
“I am cofounder of a nonprofit ministry called Feather Roots and as part of it, I have mentored and led other young girls and participated in community service for the past 10 years,” Combs said. “My passion is being a light to those around me and building others up and I truly feel that is my purpose.”

“I am so happy to be on the homecoming court and everyone deserves the chance,” Majjerczyk said. “But people should vote for me because I have school spirit and prioritize being a role model in our community.”

Oritsesetenesan “Tenesan” Nanna
“I was born and raised in New Jersey, moved to Argyle in 7th grade, and have loved Texas ever since,” Nanna said. “I love to build legos, and read, and I’m constantly trying to find new music to listen to and diversify my taste.”
“My goal is to inspire younger kids like me who are afraid of being themselves that it is possible to nurture all your interests and not have to give up on anything for anyone,” Nanna said. “I try to be the person who includes everyone. I was never an outspoken kid when I was younger, as I would keep quiet and bite my tongue. But being in band and wrestling has given me a voice and now I’m no longer afraid to talk or yell. I try my best to give everyone I interact with opportunities to express themselves as it was given to me when I moved to Argyle.”
“My part in the Student Council has had a great impact on our community,” Nanna said. “Whether the roles are big like giving a speech, or small like handling a set up for an event, I try my best to put a smile on people’s faces.”
Nanna is in her fourth year as a member of band and is on the leadership team. Nanna is one of the first four-year members and co-captain of the Argyle Girls’ Wrestling Team. Nanna is a member of FCA, NHS, Challenge Day Club, and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
Jack Dillon
“I am a senior here at Argyle and have been an Eagle since sixth grade,” Dillion said. “I was born in Michigan, so it’s still ‘Go Blue’ on Saturdays, but I would say that my affinity for sweet tea makes me thoroughly Texan. For hobbies, I do debate, participate in theatre, and love pretty much anything baseball. I love lake vacations, museum trips, pickleball, and any opportunity to try new foods.”
“My mom is a professor at [Texas Women’s University] in adapted physical education, so I get a bunch of opportunities to go help her out with her work,” Dillion said. “Because of this, I have been blessed to help numerous kids with disabilities learn and be physically active on their own terms. It’s given me a different perspective on things because even [though] we were physically different, these kids and I were able to bond over the love of sports, movement, and just having fun. Although it is not in this community, through Dear Future, a non-profit that I helped start a chapter here, I have helped to get almost $5,000 to fund primary education in Kenya and Uganda.”
Dillion has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past two years and is the current vice president. He is also a member of the International Thespians Society with Trope 6015 and the Dear Future non-profit.
