Boys Golf Places 2nd at State

Congratulations to the boys golf team on placing second at the UIL 4A State Tournament. The boys secured the program’s third second place finish at the State tournament in the golf programs history.
Senior, Luke Griggs, finishes his high school career with two State Championships and one second place finish and will continue his golf career at McLennon Junior College next year.
Senior, Will Gilster finishes his high school golf career with one State Championship and one second place finish and will continue his golf career at Texas Wesleyan next year. Junior, Logan Diomede now has two State Championships and one second place finish. Junior, Cole Wilson, has one State Championship and one second place finish.
Freshman, Justus Christman, has one second place finish.
The boys won the district tournament by over 100 strokes, placed second at the Regional Tournament, and finished second at the State Tournament, making the program’s 7th straight state tournament appearance.
