CX Debate Teams Compete at District Meet

On Friday the three CX teams competed at the Cross Examination District Meet at Cross Timbers. All three teams went 2-1 and and two of them advanced to the Playoff Rounds because of Speaker Points (used as a tie breaker). Here are the final results:
3rd Place – Savannah Lessley & Morgan Stone (1st Alternate to State)
4th Place – Rachel House & Gavin Johnston (2nd Alternate to State)
The CX Teams earned 22 points toward the UIL District Title for both UIL Academics and Speech & Debate.
