More Than Christmas Decorations

Christmas is one of the busiest holiday seasons of the year between buying gifts for others, baking cookies, and going home to see family. One of the best traditions of the season is setting up decorations around the house.

Setting out a nativity scene for Christmas reminds people of the history and the true roots of Christmas and are an extremely common decor around the house in the holiday season. There is a variety of nativity scenes, ranging from classic, simple to extravagant, bold collections, these unique sets give people to show their personality through their scenes they have around their house.

Hanging the wreath on your front door is just a small part of the relaxing and exciting process of decorating for Christmas.  “[Decorating] helps get you in the mood for the season and it lessens the stress over other things so you can relax more and enjoy more of getting into the festivity of Christmas.” Sophomore Tatum Gregston said.

Putting up the tree and hanging the ornaments is arguably the best part of setting up your Christmas decorations. It helps create amazing memories and traditions that will last a lifetime, and is a great way to laugh and look back on the good times from the past. “You get to be around your family while doing it and are able to reminisce about all the old Christmas memories.”  Gregston said.
