After a long season of trials and hard work, the Lady Eagles volleyball team took the state title in 2015.  They were ecstatic to be the first volleyball team in Argyle history to win the state championship title.

“This was the best experience ever,” Said Haylee Van Poppel. “I hope we come out next year and are able to do it again.”

The girls’ hard work earned them honor, medals, and of course state champion rings. The teams rings came in Wednesday February 16 and the team could not be more excited.

“These rings are a symbol of our hard work,” said captain Alexa Bass. “It’s something  that I will keep forever.”

The girls designed the rings after the state game concluded, and anticipated their arrival. Each ring costs 350 dollars and was custom designed with the girls individual name and jersey number and engraved with their full name on the inside. Upon their arrival, the team proudly displayed their victory with their new rings.

“These rings are awesome,” said senior Eighmy Dobbins. “I’m still so proud of our team, and these are a reminder of a year I’ll never forget.”

The Lady Eagles love their rings and continue to enjoy their win by wearing them.
