The 20th season of ‘The Bachelor’ premiered last Monday, Jan. 4. The bachelor this season is Ben Higgins. On the first episode of the season Ben meets all 28 of the girls for the first time. While the girls are very pretty, the first episode already started off with a lot of drama.

This season’s theme song is “It’s raining Ben.” The preview of the season then shows that there will be a lot of crying this season, and even crying from the bachelor himself. The preview also shows a girl receiving a black eye from another contestant.

‘The Bachelor’ gets its views by being very dramatic. Most of the 28 girls on the show are from different parts of the country, yet one girl is from Russia. Having so many girls on the show can be overwhelming because each girl has a different personality. Two of the girls that premiered on the previous season of ‘The Bachelor’ were brought back in order to add to the drama because all of the girls feel threatened by them due to their experience on the show.

There is a girl on the show named Lace, and she doesn’t get the fact that Ben is dating 27 other girls because she gets mad at Ben for simply acknowledging the other girls during the show, especially during the rose ceremony. Lace will even go as far to listen to the conversations Ben has with other girls.

Season 20 of the bachelor will be one to tune in to, since it will be filled with lots of drama.
