Since Halloween is only a day away, everyone is stocking up on candy for the trick or treaters, making last minute trips to party city, and bringing out those old cliched costumes that are guaranteed to be a success. Here are a few of this year’s most popular options:

Mario Brothers

Mario and his little brother Luigi never fail to make an appearance trick or treating around the neighborhoods. Don’t be fooled by the “brothers” because this costume is also very favored by girls.

Minions

Expect to see everyone’s favorite little yellow minions walking the streets on the night of Halloween. Every year, without a fail, Disney movies continue to inspire costume ideas for all ages, and the minion costume has been a popular one since the release of Despicable me.

The Referee & Athlete

All those sports lovers out there have even more of a way to express their love for a team/sport this season by dressing up as a Referee. However, if a ref is too cliche for some, the typical alternative is being apart of their favorite team. For those everyday athletes, this costume may come a little easier for them by throwing on some old sports gear and pairing it up with their favorite MLB or NFL jersey to represent a team for the night.

Nerd

We can never have too many nerds in this world. Especially not on Halloween, it is the perfect time for people to “geek out” by simply throwing on a pair of fake glasses, suspenders, and some plaid. There is no better time than one like this to see all the nerds at heart walking the streets. It is hard to go wrong with this popular outfit.

Where’s Waldo

Looking for Waldo? Well, you won’t be able to miss him this Halloween. The popular red and white striped “Where’s Waldo” outfit is definitely a crowd pleaser. Not to mention a throwback for all the 90’s kids.

Animals

Cat, bunny, dog, and mouse are all creative, and simple, costume ideas that will most definitely show up to an October 31st party. This outfit can be dressed up to extremes by painting on whiskers or dressed down by simply wearing cat ears. Either way, this costume is the best “last minute” costume idea this Halloween.
