After entering Argyle’s auditorium foyer doorways, many people were in for a treat.

Students worked together to scare, decorate, and create each other as coming from the dead with make up.

“The most fun was the make up because it was so cool looking dead, even though that sounds awful..” Sophomore Carly Haynes said.  “It was actually really entertaining and fun to play with!”

After paying the cost and waiting your turn to enter the house of horror, students were directed by a clown into the auditorium.

Dead people, masks, monsters, strobe lights and screams surrounded the auditorium and continued on through the band hallway.

“It was really scary for being a haunted house through school.” Junior Avery Wallace said. “It was short enough for me to bare since I’m not a fan of haunted houses.”

The theatre club put a lot of hard work and dedication into this haunted house. It was an experience of bonding and working together to achieve things.

“It was so much fun because people’s faces were priceless,” Haynes said. “We couldn’t have done it without Mrs. Toomer and Mrs. Brasher.”

Chester’s Haunted House will be available for five dollars on Thursday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 24th.

“I conquered my fear and went through it,” Wallace said. “Everybody was so fun to be around and they all knew what they were doing. It’s my first step before going to an even bigger haunted house like Cutting Edge or the Parker House.”
