The local Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch has been ranked number 5 in the state of Texas for being one of the pumpkin patches that everyone should visit this Halloween season. This patch has fun activities for people of all ages to participate in so although the famous Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch is nearing a close, here are only a few reasons why a visit is STILL necessary:

The Hayrides:

The hayride is a Halloween tradition no matter how young or old one may be. At the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, the line for the hayride is always extended way beyond the fun of the patch, but the ride is all worth the wait.

The wooden cartoons spread throughout the patch:

Every Flower Mound resident that grew up at the pumpkin patch has an abundance of pictures with the crafty, colorful wooden signs that attract kids to their favorite characters. The top half of the patch is over flowing with characters, old and new, that people use as the perfect way to capture memories.

The food:

Since this pumpkin patch has been ranked as one of the top 5 pumpkin patches in the state, their food has to be up to par, as well. The famous Fletcher’s Corny Dogs is a huge hit at the patch as well as their local “American” food stand and their Unicorn’s Snow cone stand. The days at the pumpkin patch can get a little exhausting, therefore their food supply’s the perfect source of energy.

And, of course, the pumpkins:

The patch is known for its famous soil, as weird as that may sound, because all of their pumpkins (small and large) are grown right there on their own property. The excessive amount of pumpkins they began growing 20+ years ago is what led them to the idea of creating this popular patch. Although the pick of pumpkins is beginning to run a little dry, the patch still has enough attractions to allow immense amount of fun during the Halloween festivities that are occurring this weekend.
