A piece of advice: get involved.

High school offers many different clubs that provide students with opportunities to serve, work with others, gain new friends, and grow in personal character. From Student Council to Challenge Day Club, these organizations have specific themes they follow and strive to serve the school in the greatest manner possible.

These four years are the time to find one’s identity and learn about others. They also give students a place to relate with peers who share common goals, thoughts, and hobbies while improving on skills like time management and leadership.

For students who enjoy planning and leading school events, Student Council offers a great program. Teens who want to make a difference in others’ lives will find Eagles Helping Eaglets, an offspring program to Challenge Day Club, a great candidate.

Although some clubs offered are based on grades or elections, it is never discouraged to ask a club sponsor how to make a contribution to the organization.

Clubs give students the unique experience to find him or herself while becoming who they want to be. Students hoping to find their niche and passion are encouraged to give a club a try for it will enhance their high school experience.
