Important Grade Information for Seniors!

In order to determine academic honors to be conferred during graduation, senior rank and GPA will be run on Friday, April 24.  District Policy states, “The District shall calculate class rank at the end of the 5^th week of the fourth nine-week grading period of the senior year.”  It is extremely important that seniors understand that grades will be run to determine academic standing for graduation, but this does not mean that grades taken after that point are not important.  Those grades still count and will be calculated into the final semester average that appears on the final transcript.  To be clear, the grades earned after April 24 will still count in the semester average that will be included on the transcript, but rank and GPA will not be re-calculated at the end of the year.
