Festive Rice Krispy Treats to Taste

Not ready to give up the Easter holiday yet? These egg shaped Rice Krispy treats are a delicious and a great idea for an Easter or Spring themed dessert. The festive treat is moist, chewy and crunchy! They have a hint of vanilla which is different to the regular Rice Krispy treats, but it makes them extra special. The egg shape and added touch of white chocolate topped with sprinkles makes them perfect for Spring!
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup butter or margarine
- 1 (10 ½ oz.) bag Miniature Marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Microwave butter in large mixing bowl on high for 45 seconds or until melted.
- Add marshmallows; stir to combine. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 45 seconds. Add vanilla and stir.
- Immediately add cereal; stir until well coated.
- Press mixture into greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.
- Cool; cut into squares.
