With new head coach, Carlos Balderas, the varsity tennis team has done little to disappoint. So far, the team has very successfully competed in three tournaments against Krum, Chisolm Trail, and Timber Creek.
“I expect our team to do really well this year,” said Margaret Stein, senior captain. “We have a lot of new players who are really competitive, so I think our whole team will do great in district and hopefully make it to regionals. ”
The team plays Krum again this Saturday in hopes of gaining more points for USTA Team Tennis in order to make it to State as a team. Come support your Argyle tennis team!
