Just before Thanksgiving Break, the Argyle Theatre Department attended the Texas Thespian Festival, held at the Gaylord in Grapevine, from Nov. 15 to 18. The Argyle Theatre Department had fifteen individual performance events or IE competition entrees. Seven of the IEs qualified for the National Festival held in Indiana in the summer of 2024.
Argyle Theatre National qualifiers are:

The senior-directed play, Anatomy of Gray, performed their show to an almost sold-out crowd during the festival. Emi Nishida and Alix Bourland were recognized for their performances. Anatomy of Gray and two other shows, Triangle Factory Project and Mid Summer Night, will be performed at Argyle High School on Nov. 30 at 6:30.
Argyle Theatre also participated in other events at the Thespian Festival. These events were: Hair and Make-Up Design Challenge, Mask Making Challenge, Costume Design Challenge, and Tech Challenge. Argyle thespians attended workshops, performances, and events throughout the festival.
Congratulations to Argyle Theatre!
