Lanie Rodgers

Since seventh grade, senior Lanie Rodgers has played a big role in the success of the girl’s cross country team. She recently placed second at the district 8-4A meet and will advance to the regional competition for the fourth year in a row.

“Lanie is pretty dedicated,” senior Dylan Hargroves said. “It’s kind of rare to see girls who are this dedicated, especially to cross country, but she works super hard.” 

Last season, Rodgers placed ninth overall at regions to qualify for her third consecutive state trip. She hopes to qualify for state this season and extend her state appearance to four seasons.
