A Look into the Lady Eagle Golf Program
Eaton Fall Classic

The Argyle Eagles started the 2019-2020 golf season at the Eaton Fall Classic playing Friday at Fossil Creek and Saturday at The Golf Club at the Resort. Teeing off at 7:30 Friday morning the Eagles were able to get out and take advantage of a beautiful day before the heat set in later in the round. The Eagles were led by Sophomore Katie Garner’s 84 in round one. Senior Hannah Wood, and junior, Madelyn Diomede, each followed with an 85 and Maddie Wilson, a sophomore, shot a 98 in her Eagle debut. Sophomore Reese Underwood fought through a wrist injury to finish with a 105. Freshman Lauren Justice shot a 113 in her first high school event. On day two at The Resort, Hannah Wood shot a 77 to lead the team. Madelyn 86, Katie 88, and Maddie shot 100 for a team score of 352. The two day total of 703 earned a 2nd place team finish. The Lady Eagles will play next Friday and Saturday in the Fast Freddie Memorial Scholarship Tournament at Lake Park.
