The Eagles had no problems taking on 3rd ranked private school, Nolan Catholic at home on Friday night, as they powered up early in the game, scoring within the first minutes after connecting a 53-yard pass from Brandon Boyzuick to Hunter Treadwell, then finishing up with the extra kick by Cole Hedlund. Connor Wilson also scored the first quarter, with Cole Hedlund putting up the extra point, then scoring two more field goals.
The second quarter saw more action as Ian Sadler put another 6 on the board, along with Jon Pucciarello taking in a 22-yard pass from Boyzuick. Hedlund put up two more points with the extra kicks.
The third quarter started with a Hedlund’s 39-yeard field goal, then Nolan Catholic was finally able to puts some points on the board with a fumble return, but Argyle quickly recovered and Sadler scored another 6, with Hedlund putting up another extra point.
The final quarter allowed Nolan Catholic to score twice on Argyle’s second and third string players, making the final (44-21).
