Over 100 students received recognition for their accomplishments throughout the year at the awards ceremony on May 16. The event celebrated students who maintained perfect attendance, showed excellence in academics, and seniors at the ceremony who received scholarships from their chosen schools. Other awards were given to students nominated by their teachers, those showing citizenship to their peers and community, and those active in clubs and organizations.

“I don’t think we can cover in one night all that our kids deserve,” counselor Connie Correll said, “but this is as close as we can get in showing them how much we appreciate and admire what they do.”

Students shared their reflections on the scholarships and awards they received.
