The Curse of the Haunted Woods
A Horror Story

A group of students looking for a scary adventure hear about “the haunted woods of the white witch”. On a dare, they decide to visit the woods. The students have heard the rumors about the death of a “white” slave who had been held captive in the woods back in the 1800s. They decide to investigate and go to the site of her hanging, a supposedly cursed, haunted woods surrounding Old Alton Bridge where she hanged herself after several years of torture. The rumor is that anyone who walks in the woods during a full moon, disappears forever.
