After an impressive regular season, the Lady Eagles claimed their first postseason win with a 86-13 win over Hampton HS. Playing in Byron Nelson Gymnasium, the girls quickly put on a show and set the tone, scoring 14 unanswered points to start the game. Starters Jesse Sheridan and Vivian Gray, along with their fellows Olivia Gray, Delainey Sain, and Madison Ralston, barraged the opponent with an uptempo, full court offense and staunch defensive play, forcing Hampton into long shots that they were unable to capitalize on.

The game was never close, and Argyle was able to put in their relief players early in the second half. Players such as Jocelyn Pierce, Molly Sheridan, Claire Betzhold, and Madison Stapleton led the way as Argyle’s point total barely dipped. All in all, twelve different Eagles scored throughout the game. Regardless of who was in the game, the Lady Eagles dictated the game until the buzzer finally ended with Argyle emerging victorious by a 73 point margin.

With this win, the Argyle Lady Eagles will advance to the area playoff game against Dallas Carter. Check back here for more updates.
