New and old faces scatter the halls as another school year begins. Freshmen worry about what high school will be like, sophomores and juniors get ready to tackle another year, and seniors prepare to make the most of their last year in high school.

“It’s exciting, starting senior year,” senior Jonathan Davis said. “It was pretty nerve racking, thinking about how this is my last year in High School, summer just went by really fast.”

Seniors aren’t the only ones with something to be nervous or excited about, the rest of the student body begin their year with similar worries and aspirations.

“It’s great. Just another new year,” junior Jessica Fischer said. “I’m excited, nervous, all those things.”

And with each “new year” comes new changes to the school. Eight new teachers, a new Assistant Principal, new lunch plans as well as vending machines. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the student and faculty’s school spirit. After a long summer, they are ready to come back for the 2014-15 school year.

“I was actually ready for summer to be over,” junior Hudson Speed said. “Ready for football season start, see all my old friends, and get ready to go.”
