After the Eagles run-ruling Paris North Lamar Panthers Thursday night, the Eagles were able to squeeze out a 4-1 victory to end the series. Drew Gooch held the Panthers to 0 runs through 6 innings. Rixey Boyd came in to close in the seventh, but gave up a triple who eventually stole home. The Eagles will travel to Austin to play Wednesday at either 1:00 pm or 4:00 pm at UFCU Disch Falk Field for the state semi-final. The state final will be played the following day, Thursday, June 5 at 6:30 at UFCU Disch Falk Field.
