The Prisoners is a perfect movie for those viewers looking for a fall thriller. Starring big names such as Hugh Jackman and heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal, this film will not only keep you on the edge of your seat, it might even keep you up at night. Jackman plays Keller Dover, whose daughter is kidnapped along with her friend, a daughter of the neighbors. The movie changes pace quickly as both families search for their lost daughters alongside Detective Loki (played by Gyllenhaal). I highly recommend this movie, not only for it’s casting choices, but also for the reality of the situation at hand. My advice for future watchers would be to pay attention. The plot thickens in the end, and everything falls into place.
