May 20-22 twenty-eight students traveled to the capital to compete in various academic competitions. The state-level meet was held on the University of Texas at Austin campus. Fourteen of the twenty-eight earned individual medals, along with five team wins and Argyle’s sixth consecutive state championship.

In order to compete, contestants had to place first, second, or third at both the district and region levels. Argyle had state qualifiers in eleven categories, in which nine had a student place first through sixth. Below are both the team and individual results. Individuals or teams with a * earned a medal.
