On April 5th the band hosted the Peak Music Festival, a fundraiser for the AHS Band Boosters. Participating high school bands from the area had the opportunity to receive feedback from a panel of three judges to help prepare them for competition UIL in late April.
The Wind Ensemble received a “Superior” rating, the highest possible score, from all of the judges as well as the title “Most Outstanding Band”. The thirteen bands that participated and the AHS Band Boosters plan to continue the Peak Music Festival in the future.
