Since Oct., the community has been conducting the “Think Pink, Think Argyle” campaign to raise money and awareness regarding the work of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
On Jan. 28, Laura Gaspard and Ashton Little from the Frisco office of the foundation came to an Argyle Middle School pep rally to receive a check for $5,000 which was raised through the efforts of students, teachers, administrators and their families. Presenting the check was breast cancer survivor Tina Shobe, the middle school counselor.
