The varsity girls are still in the running after Monday’s defeat against Carrollton Ranchview. Although they lost the game, they are still competing for the second place district spot, which would move them into the playoffs. Currently, sophomore Delaney Sain is scoring 13.6 points per game, averaging 6.8 rebounds per game and shooting 62% from the field, and senior Allea Harris is scoring 12.2 points per game, averaging 6.4 rebounds per game and shooting 46% from the field and 45% from the 3 point line this season. Third on the leader board is sophomore Jesse Sheridan who is averaging 9.1 points per game and is shooting 75.9% from the free throw line this year.
